How much does a commercial EICR cost?
Commercial and shop EICRs start from £150 for a small unit of up to 10 circuits. Larger premises are quoted on the number of distribution boards and circuits — we give you a fixed price before we start, with no hidden extras.
How often does a business need an EICR?
Commercial premises should be inspected at least every 5 years, or more frequently for higher-risk environments. Many landlords, insurers and licensing bodies require a valid EICR as a condition of cover or trading.
Will the inspection disrupt my business?
We work around your opening hours wherever possible, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, to keep disruption to a minimum. Most small units are completed within a few hours.
Do you carry out remedial work?
Yes. If your EICR is unsatisfactory we can carry out remedial work — often the same day — to bring the installation up to standard and issue your satisfactory certificate.
